Pre-printed regular tickets may be purchased at OASTH ticket selling booths, at 1200 points of sale throughout the metropolitan area of Thessaloniki, or at ticket vending machines on-board buses.

Regular fare – single trip tickets issued by ticket machines on-board buses cost 0.10€ more than their nominal value, e.g. regular tickets cost 1.10 € and discounted tickets cost 0.60 €.

Longer duration tickets for up to two (2) uses (Regular or Discounted Fare) are valid for 2 trips to and from any direction and any bus route within 70 minutes from the time they are issued (if they are issued inside the bus) or from their first validation (if they are pre-printed, like the tickets illustrated).

Please note that if the second validation is made within 70 minutes of the first, the ticket is valid until the completion of the second journey. 

Pre-printed longer duration tickets for up to two (2) trips may be purchased at OASTH ticket selling booths and at 1200 points of sale throughout the metropolitan area of Thessaloniki, or at ticket vending machines on-board buses.

Two-trip 70-minutes tickets issued by ticket machines on-board buses cost 0.10€ more than their nominal value, e.g. regular tickets cost 1.30 € and discounted tickets cost 0.70 €.

Longer duration tickets for up to three (3) uses (Regular or Discounted Fare) are valid for 3 trips to and from any direction and any bus route within 90 minutes from the time they are issued (if they are issued inside the bus) or from their first validation (if they are pre-printed, like the tickets illustrated).

Please note that if the third validation is made within 90 minutes of the first, the ticket is valid until the completion of the third journey. 

Pre-printed longer duration tickets for up to three (3) trips may be purchased only at OASTH ticket selling booths and or at ticket vending machines on-board buses.

Three-trip 90-minutes tickets issued by ticket vending machines on-board buses are sold at their nominal value.

Longer duration tickets for up to four (4) uses (Regular or Discounted Fare) are valid for 4 trips to and from any direction and any bus route within 120 minutes from the time they are issued (if they are issued inside the bus) or from their first validation (if they are pre-printed, like the tickets illustrated).

Please note that if the fourth validation is made within 120 minutes of the first, the ticket is valid until the completion of the fourth journey. 

This is the legal passenger fare on routes within the municipalities of the Lagadas District, provided at least one transfer is made in Lagadas.

Pre-printed longer duration tickets for up to four (4) trips may be purchased only at OASTH ticket selling booths and / or at ticket vending machines on-board buses.

Unlimited travel cards are valid for all OASTH bus routes for the specific length of time they were issued (one month, three months, six months, one year).

All unlimited travel cards (one-month, three-month, six months, annual) are accompanied by an OASTH ID card issued by OASTH with the holder’s personal details, photograph and ID number.

Acquisition of an unlimited travel card requires 2 colour photographs and proof of identification (ID, passport or driving license). Additionally, Persons entitled to a discounted fare (students, large-family members or persons with over 67% disability) are required to show documentary proof of their entitlement.

Unlimited travel cards may be purchased at OASTH ticket selling booths during :

-   the last ten calendar days of the previous month and the first ten calendar days of the month for which they are valid (for one-month and three-month cards),

-   the last ten calendar days of June and December for the six month period cars and

-   the last ten calendar days of the previous year or the first ten calendar days of the year for which they are valid (for annual cards).

Lost unlimited travel cards of all categories and types are not replaced by the Organisation under any circumstances.

ATTENTION: A. According to Joint Ministerial decision no. Α-45788/3552/2014, amended, supplemented and currently in force, users of discounted tickets and discounted unlimited travel cards are required to show valid proof of their entitlement to a discounted fare as described below.

• · Higher education and PhD students: student pass from O.A.S.A
• · Large-family members: large-family member booklet
  • · Persons with disabilities: travel card issued by the relevant services of the Regional (formerly, Prefectural) Administration. Please note that persons with disabilities within OASTH’s area of operations who have free travel cards, travel free of charge.
• · Persons aged over 65 years: ID or passport or any other official documentary proof of identity and age.

Higher education and PhD students are entitled to a discounted ticket on any bus line, at all times, throughout their studies, provided that they carry their valid corresponding pass issued by O.A.S.A.
First-year university students, until the 30th of September, may take advantage of the relevant discounted for mass transportation by showing a certificate of registration issued by the department secretariat and their ID card, until they receive an official university student pass.

These tickets are only valid for the Cultural Route No 50 and Macedonia Airport Express bus route No 78 and 78N and issued for one trip only.

Tickets may be purchased from Cultural Route attendants onboard No 50 buses, or at OASTH kiosks and ticket vending machines onboard the corresponding buses.

• Unlimited travel cards (regular or discounted) as well as Free travel passes (for persons with disabilities) are valid on bus routes No 50, 78 and 78N
