90 MINUTE DURATION TICKETS Valid for two bus trips to/from any direction and any bus line within 90 minutes of validation.

Longer duration tickets for up to two (2) uses (Regular or Discount Fare) are valid for 2 trips to and from any direction and any bus line within 90 minutes from the time they are issued (if they are issued inside the bus) or from their first validation (if they are pre-printed, like the tickets illustrated).

Please note that if the second validation is made within 90 mintes of the first, the ticket is valid until the completion of the second journey. 

Pre-printed longer-longer duration tickets for up to two (2) trips may be purchased at OASTH ticket outlets and at 1670 points of sale or at ticket machines onboard busses.

Tickets issued by ticket machines onboard busses are 0.10€ more expensive, regular tickets cost 1.00 € and discount tickets cost 0.60 €.

24-HOUR TICKETS Valid for unlimited travel within 24 hours

24-hour tickets (Regular or Discount) are valid for 24 hours from the time they are issued (if they are issued inside the bus) or from the time they are validated (if they are pre-printed tickets). 24-hour tickets are validated only for the first use and for the last. If the last trip (ticket use) is made within 24 hours of the first the ticket is valid until the passenger descends from the bus.

24-hour tickets may be purchased only from OASTH ticket outlets or from ticket machines onboard buses.

Unlimited travel cards are valid for all OASTH bus lines for the specific length of time they were issued (one month, three months, one year).

All unlimited travel cards (one-month, three-month, annual) are accompanied by an OASTH ID card issued by OASTH with the holder’s personal details, photograph and ID number.

Acquisition of an unlimmited travel card requires 2 color photographs and proof of identification (ID, passport or driving license). Additionally, Persons entitled to a discount fare (students, pupils, large-family members or persons with over 67% disability) are required to show documentary proof of their entitlement.

Unlimited travel cards may be purchased at OASTH ticket outlets during the last ten calendar days of the previous month and the first ten calendar days of the month for which they are valid (for one-month and three-month cards) and during the last ten calendar days of the previous year or the first ten calendar days of the year for which they are valid (for annual cards).

Lost unlimited travel cards of all categories and types are not replaced by the Organisation under any circumstances.

ATTENTION:  A. According to Joint Ministerial decision no. Α-61311/5754/21-12-2010, amended, supplemented and currently in force, users of discount tickets and discount unlimmited travel cards are required to show valid proof of their entitlement to a discount fare as described below.

• ·                            Primary and secondary education pupils: school pass
• ·                            Large-family members: large-family member booklet
• ·                            Persons with disabilities: travel card issued by the relevant services of the Regional (formerly, Prefectural) Administration. Please note that persons with disabilities within OASTH’s area of operations who have free travel cards, travel free of charge.
• ·                            Persons aged over 65 years: ID or passport or any other official documentary proof of identity and age.

Β. Primary and secondary education pupils are entitled to a discount ticket on any bus line, at all times, throughout the school year, from 1 September to 31 August of the following year, by showing that year’s school pass. The validity of school passes is extended to 31 October, in order to facilitate and enable the acquisition of a new school pass for the next school year.
Higher education and PhD students are entitled to a discount ticket on any bus line, at all times, throughout the academic year, from  1 September to 31 August of the following year, by showing that year’s student pass. The validity of student passes is extended to 31 October in order to facilitate and enable the acquisition of a new student pass for the next year of studies.
First-year students, after 30 September, may take advantage of the relevant discount for mass transportation by showing a certificate of registration issued by the department secreteriat and their ID card, until they receive an official student pass.

CULTURAL ROUTE TICKETS Valid only for use on bus line No 50

Cultural route tickets are valid ONLY for use on bus line No 50.

Passengers on bus line No 50 are entitled to use their tickets to complete a full route within a single calendar day, even if they alight at one or more stops along the way and continue the route (to its completion) with later buses of the same line.

Cultural route tickets may be purchased only from Cultural Route attendants onboard No 50 busses.

Also valid on bus line No. 50 are:

• Unlimited travel cards (regular or discount)
• Free travel passes (for persons with dissabilities)
